October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but Turkey Creek Medical Center held a ceremony of hope on Thursday.
They celebrated the lives of those who have been touched by breast cancer and employees who work with them, with the lighting of their breast cancer survivor tree.
It's decorated with ornaments and ribbons of breast cancer survivors. It's a symbol of hope, encouragement, and strength, especially for those who have just been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Our own Russell Biven was one of the guest speakers.
The tree will stay up through the month of October.
