Dominick, 13, loves to tell jokes and make people laugh. His counselor describes Dominick as a sweet child who gets along well with everyone.
Dominick has experienced a great deal of loss in his young life and needs a family to help him process his emotions. His adoptive family will need to advocate for him in the school setting. He receives special education services and needs lot of encouragement and help in his school work.
Dominick says he really wants to be adopted, adding "that's what I've always wanted." He says he wants somebody who "will actually love me."
Dominick will do best in a home with no other children. He would also do well in a home with older teens. He needs a family who will give him what he says he wants most, and that is unconditional love.
