14-year-old Kala is a little shy and a little sensitive, but has a lot of big hopes for a better future. She has had a difficult life but is working hard at making it better and knows it would be better in an adoptive home.
Kala is very artistic and creative. She enjoys making jewelry, and scrapbooking. She loves to draw and color. Kala excels academically when she works at it.
Kala loves the outdoors and is fond of animals, especially horses. She's hoping that her adoptive family will live on a farm where she can have her own horse.
Kala says she hopes she will have brothers and sisters in her adoptive home. She never gets to see her biological brothers, and says she misses them.
Kala nees an adoptive home that will set clear limits and boundaries, one with a structured environment. Most of all she needs a family who will make a lifetime commitment of unconditional love.
