Meet Hunter
DOB: 01/24/1996

"If you have critters, I'm your boy!"

"I would like to be with a family who appreciates me for who I am, and preferably lives on a working farm, but not too far from the city please."

More About Hunter

Hunter is an energetic 15-year-old boy who has a great sense of humor. Hunter loves to spend time outdoors and be around animals. He would prefer to be on a farm or rural area. He is polite and respectful towards adults and makes good grades in school. Hunter completes single tasks and daily chores well. He enjoys working with his hands and is very creative. He gets along well with his peer group, having the ability to form attachments and make friends. Hunter enjoys watching movies, including action, comedy, adventure and science fiction genres. He also enjoys reading both science fiction and fiction books. His music interest is eclectic, including country, heavy metal and rock 'n' roll. Hunter enjoys involving himself in many hobbies and activities, his favorites being roller skating, bowling, riding his bike, playing his PSP, and listening to music on his IPOD.

What Others Say About Hunter

Hunter's foster parents say he would do really well in a two-parent family, possibly with older children. Hunter says he would like to live in the country, however they feel somewhere closer to the city where he could participate in more easily would be advantageous. He loves animals, and loves working with his hands on outdoor projects, all of course under supervision. He is also an Acolyte in Church which he enjoys very much.

Hunter's FSW states he has always presented himself as a very polite and well-behaved young man. He has a lot of energy, and with help focusing that energy, I believe his future can be very successful and rewarding. Hunter has a charismatic personality and would be a joy for any loving family. Like most of our foster children, Hunter's main desire is to belong to family and have a place to call home.

What You Can Do For Hunter

Hunter would prefer a traditional, two-parent family. Hunter would probably flourish best in a home with no children; however he would be ok placed in a home with older children. He needs a home that can provide structure, stability, and see to his medical, educational and mental health needs. This family needs to have the patience to understand that Hunter comes with a traumatic past, and while he has made great efforts at overcoming that past, he continues to need therapeutic services at this time. Hunter would prefer a family that lives in a rural setting and is open to having animals. Hunter is a handsome young man with a magnetic personality that wants a home that will love him, keep him safe, and make him a permanent part of their family. If you feel you could be his forever family, please contact us.
