Wade Hayes

Singer-songwriter Wade Hayes will appear in Knoxville to perform a benefit concert for the American Cancer Society on November 15 at 6 p.m. at Tin Roof. Tickets are $10 at the door and all proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. The concert is presented by Q93 - Today's Continuous Country.

Less than one year ago, Hayes was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. After successful surgery and chemotherapy, Hayes was inspired to write a song, "Is It Already Time," about his ordeal.

Benefit for Office James "Jay" H. Colvin

The event will be from 3pm-9pm outside at The Shed at Smoky Mountain HD - Maryville to benefit Blount County Police Officer James "Jay" H. Colvin.
Live music from JD Cable & the Empty Bottle Band and Southern Drawl Band.
 Live auction at 5:30pm; silent auction for the entire event. Money will go to help pay for Jay's medical bills as he fights to beat Bladder Cancer and Urete Kidney Cancer. An account has been set up at Mountain National Bank in James H. Colvin's name to accept any cash donations.
