Here are some more details about the events and guests featured on Friday's Live at Five at Four road show in Market Square.

Holidays on Ice

Knoxville's open-air ice rink is open everyday through Jan. 6, 2013, with the exception of Christmas Day.

Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 12 years and younger. Those costs include skate rental and sales tax.

Each skater must sign a waiver of liability before entering the rink. A signature from a parent or guardian is required for all skaters under the age of 18.

The rink is open from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday through Dec. 20.

From Dec. 21 - Jan. 6, the hours are expanded to 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday. On Christmas Eve, the rink is open from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Regal Celebration of Lights

Downtown Knoxville transforms into a Christmas village for the annual Regal Celebration of Lights kickoff to Christmas in the City.

A ceremony to light a 38-foot Christmas tree in the Krutch Park Extension and turn on more than 100,000 holiday lights in Krutch Park and surrounding areas begins at 6 p.m.

The event includes several family-friendly activities including caroling, marshmallow roasting, choir performances, train rides for children of all ages, pictures with Santa, free hot cocoa and donuts, face painting, balloon animals and more.

WDVX Ho Ho Hoedown

This year's Ho Ho Hoedown is designed to fit right in with the Christmas in the City theme: "A Knoxville Christmas Carol."

The entertainment begins on the Market Square stage at 5 p.m. with emcee Red Hickey and her Christmas chicken.

The musical line-up begins after the Regal Celebration of Lights ceremony.

6:30 - 7:10 p.m. - The Music of Christmas Past: Figgy Pudding Bottom Boys & Girls

7:15 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. - The Music of Christmas Present: Step Above Dance School and more

8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - The Music of Christmas Yet to Come: King Super & the Excellents

Book signing

Tri-Cities author Dianne Barker will hold a book signing for her new book, Cabbages and Kings: Reflections on Living Abundantly in Christ on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The event runs from noon - 2 p.m. at the Lifeway Christian Store location on Parkside Drive in the Turkey Creek shopping center.
