A music infused weekend kicks off Thursday night at The Well. Enjoy the jazzy rock of Sol Driven Train with Vagabond Philosophy. Tickets are $8.00. Show starts at 9:00pm.

Carlos Mencia, famous for stints on Comedy Central and movies like The Heartbreak Kid will be at Side Splitters. Tickets are $30 in advance. For showtimes, go to www.sidesplitterscomedy.com.

The Knoxville Ice Bears have two home games this weekend. The first, Thursday night against the Huntsville Havoc. It's also $1,000 giveaway Thursday. On Saturday, the Bears face the Pensacola Ice Flyers and that's right...its wiener dog race night! Race information can be found at www.knoxvilleicebears.com. Both games start at 7:30pm.

The Clarence Brown Theatre takes you into the mind of abstract expressionist Mark Rothko with their production of "RED". Tickets to this event start around $20. Curtain goes up at 7:30pm. Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm.

"Jammin' In Your Jammies" is a fun family event that benefits East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Bring the kids to the Holiday Inn at World's Fair Park for a weekend of games, music, zoo animals, gymnastics lessons and much more. Saturday night at the Shed, The Vespers bring you a fun night with their brand of uplifting Nashville folk pop. The price is $15 for all ages. Show starts at 8:00pm.

Boom! It's Valor Championship Kickboxing 3. Saturday at 3706 Sevier Heights Road in Knoxville, watch local fighters go head to head. Tickets are $20 at the door. The action kicks off at 6:00pm.

The Clayton Center for the Arts is hosting its "Cozy Winter Nights" music series. Saturday night, enjoy the "honey-sweet" sound of Robinella. Tickets are $10. Show starts at 8:00pm.

At the Bijou, Go! Contemporary Dance Works presents "Unsung Heroes" The Women of World War II. Tickets are $22 in advance. Show starts Saturday night at 8:00pm.

The Coliseum will be rocking Sunday at 7:00pm with shows from Shinedown, Three Days Grace and P.O.D.. For ticket info go to www.knoxvillecoliseum.com.

The Lady Vols are back on the court against Ole Miss on Sunday. Tip off is set for 2:00pm. Go to www.utsports.com for tickets.

As much as I get excited when UT plays, I never miss a chance to view the unmatched skills of Channel 10 b-ball legend Eric Foxx. Join Foxxy and the Heartbreakers at the West Lonsdale Baptist Church for their game on Sunday at 12:30pm.
