Love your new spring flowers? Well, if you try a little Ikebana arranging, they might last a little longer than the usual vase arrangement.
The ancient Japanese art form dates back about 500 years. There are many
forms of the art, which is said to have started with Buddhist practices.
Of course, I only know this from Google, and Liz-Beth Gallery Director, Gregg Phenicie.
Phenicie graciously made up some of the arrangements so that I could see how it was done. There are all different sizes and styles of the Ikebana pieces. They come in all different price points, as well.
To see some Ikebana pieces you can check out Liz-beth Gallery in Knoxville.
