Hundreds of Alumni were back on campus at Maryville College recently, but they weren't visiting. The graduates, some dating back to the Class of 1956, were getting in touch with their home improvement side, volunteering on campus projects from maintenance to landscaping. The effort is part of the 14th annual Kin Takahashi Week, a week dedicated to giving back to the College by improving the campus.
The volunteer week is named in honor of student Kin Takahashi. During the 1890's he founded the College's first football team and led a project to build one of the campus halls.
