The nearly one million Tennesseans who hunt or fish have a big impact on the state's economy, according to new data released by the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation.

According to the foundation, outdoorsmen and women spent $1.8 billion in Tennessee in 2011.

The group also says hunters and anglers supported more than 26,000 jobs in the state.
