Tuesday Windham Professionals announced they are adding 150 new jobs to their Alcoa business center and 95 jobs in Hendersonville.
The Blount Partnership, who recruited the New Hampshire company here less than two years ago, says these are high paying jobs.
"These jobs are the type that's been on a strategic list of employment opportunities we want to provide for our citizens. So these would definitely be filling a need in our community," said Bryan Daniels, Blount Partnership's CEO and President.
Windham Professionals is a collections agency that provides clients with accounting and project management.
"The high quality of our current staff in both locations indicates to us that we have additional opportunity to grow our operations in Tennessee," Erin Zaldastani, president and CEO of Windham Professionals said.
In Blount County they have seen a streak of good luck in business recruitment. In 20 months, they've added 2,500 jobs, a capital investment of $170 million.
Daniels said the innovation valley is attractive to companies for a number of reasons.
"The labor force is the number one key ingredient for us recruiting these type of jobs. Also the quality of life and the low tax burden we have respective to the rest of the United States is very appealing," Daniels said.
Other announcements in Blount County this year include Pro Nova to Pellissippi Place and bringing 500 jobs and Team Health in Alcoa bringing 700 jobs.
Blount Partnership says they expect even more later this year.
McMinn County announced an automotive plant Monday with 200 jobs.
