I had a conversation with a friend in 11th grade and it changed my life forever. I was wondering if I wanted to go to college to become a doctor and he told me he wanted to be a sportscaster. The light went on and my passion for this business has not gone off since.
I have been with WBIR since April 2010, but I've spent the majority of my life in Tennessee. Born and raised in Memphis, I attended college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
My sporting experiences begin with my family. I can remember watching my Dad playing pick-up at YMCA and being small enough to be picked up to dunk. As a child, my grandmother was a manager of a local men's softball team and my Mom was always taking me to some game or another. Sports always had a way of bringing the family together.
Watching sports has always been a hobby and I have been fortunate enough to turn my hobby into my career. When I'm not going from game to game in the Knoxville area, I love spending time with my wife and daughter.
