The TBI has released security camera footage of the man suspected of kidnapping a mother and her three daughters from West Tennessee.

The video shows 35-year-old Adam Mayes at Mississippi Market on April 30.

He's accused of kidnapping Jo Ann Bain and her three daughters from their home in Whitefield days before the video was taken.

Investigators found the bodies of Bain and ehr oldest daughter behind Mayes' Mississippi home last week.

Officials are still searching for Bain's younger daughters. The girls are believed to be with Mayes who may have cut and colored the girls' hair.

Mayes is now on the TBI's most wanted list.

Anyone with information should call 1-800-TBI-FIND.

The mother and the ex-wife of the suspect in the killing of a Tennessee woman and her oldest daughter have been charged in connection with the case, the TBI said Tuesday.

As an intense manhunt for Adam Mayes and the two young girls continued, his ex-wife, Teresa Mayes, and mother, Mary Mayes, were arraigned in a Hardeman County courtroom on Tuesday.

Mary Mayes was charged with conspiracy to commit especially aggravated kidnapping, while Teresa Mayes was charged with especially aggravated kidnapping.

An affidavit states that Teresa Mayes told investigators she drove the mother and daughters from Hardeman County, where they lived, to Union County, Miss.

The bodies of Jo Ann Bain and 14-year-old Adrienne Bain were found last week behind the home where the Mayes family lived.

12-year-old Alexandria Bain and 8-year-old Kyliyah Bain were still missing.

Edtitor's note: Previous versions of this story identified Teresa Mayes as Adam Mayes' wife. The TBI has since reported she is Mayes' ex-wife.

Previous story

Police have arrested the wife and mother of a man suspected of abducting and killing a Tennessee woman and her oldest daughter and kidnapping the woman's two youngest daughters.

A court clerk confirmed that Adam Mayes' wife, Teresa Mayes, and mother, Mary Mayes, are in jail in Hardeman County, Tenn., and will be arraigned Tuesday.

The clerk did not yet know what charges they face.

Teresa Mayes' sister Bobbi Booth said Adam Mayes and his wife lived with his parents.

The bodies of Jo Ann Bain and 14-year-old Adrienne Bain were found behind a house in North Mississippi late last week.

Booth told the AP her sister told her last week she knew about the killings, but she thinks Teresa Mayes may have been too scared to call the police.
