Missing 4-day-old baby has been found

Update 5:43 p.m.

State Officials reported that the missing 4-day-old baby has "been safely located."

The Knoxville Police Department said the child is being evaluated at Children's Hospital and is in the state's custody.

On Friday the Knoxville Police Department issued an Endangered Child Alert for the baby. 

Officials have not released any information on the parents or where the child was found. For more updates on this story, watch 10News and visit our website.

The Knoxville Police Department has issued an Endangered Child Alert for a 4-day-old baby.

The baby's last name is Sexton. He was last seen on September 21.

Officials believe Baby Sexton may be with his parents, Jennifer Michelle Sexton and Clarence "Mike" Michael Posey.

Jennifer Sexton is a 24-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5'5" and 118 pounds.

Clarence Posey is a 44-year-old white male. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6' tall and 165 pounds.

There are several different vehicles they may be traveling in:
    - S-10 pick-up with a TN tag 476 RXL
    - Black Pontiac with a TN handicap tag 22989
    - Black Mercury Sable with TN tag E60429
    - White TransAm and/ or red Chevrolet truck with TN tag B16102
