As social media becomes a bigger part of our lives, it's also becoming more influential as a deal maker or breaker in a job hunt.
A new study from CareerBuilder.com shows 43 percent of hiring managers who currently research candidates on social media admit they have found information that has caused them not to hire a candidate. That's up nine percent from last year.
The number of companies that admit to researching job candidates on social media also continues to rise.
