For many workers, the conventional 9 to 5, five-day work week is a thing of the past. Whether it's with a smartphone, tablet, or home computer, the mobile technology that offers freedom and productivity away from the workplace can be a double-edged sword, further blurring the lines between work and personal life.
According to Opinion Matters, 55 percent of employees check email after 11 p.m. Eighty-one percent check their work emails on weekends, and 59 percent keep on top of work email while on vacation. Ten percent admitted to checking work email at a child's school event.
