  • The Friends of the Smokies Ball at Cherokee Country Club has been postponed until February 12.
  • Tennessee Valley Pediatrics and Internal Medical Office in Jefferson County
  • The "New Beginnings Credit Seminar" scheduled at Sevier Heights Baptist Church for Jan. 30th is postponed to Feb 6th. Same time.
  • Coupon Fair has been rescheduled to Feb. 27th; same time
  • Impacting Ministry Training Event of the Knoxville District of the United Methodist Church rescheduled from Sunday to February 21
  • There will be no weekend classes at the Dental Learning School in Maryville.
  • The Cumberland County Playhouse is closed Friday and Saturday.
  • Lincoln Memorial University's men's and women's basketball games at home on Saturday evening have been pushed back. Instead, the Railsplitters will take on Wingate University on Monday afternoon, at 4 and 6 p.m.
  • The Oak Ridge Symphony concert for Saturday night has been canceled, according to Executive Director Michelle Powell.
  • Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union: all locations closing early. Lobbies close at 3 p.m. Drive-throughs close at 3:30.
  • Bass Pro Shops Sevierville handgun carry permit class for Friday night has been canceled and re-scheduled for February 5 at 5 p.m., according to Gayle Chesney.
  • The Smith Family Dinner Theatre in Pigeon Forge has canceled Friday and Saturday night shows.
  • All Knox County non-emergency facilities that are normally open on Saturday will be closed.
  • TMSAA Area 4 Small Tournament at Eagleton Middle has been postponed, date to be determined.
  • TMSAA Area 4 Large Tournament at Carpenters Middle has been postponed, date to be determined.
  • Heska Amuna Synagogue Sunday School is canceled for Sunday at 9:30.
  • Talbot's Customer Service Center has delayed its first shift to 9 a.m.
  • The Hancock County Drug Prevention Coalition's meeting at Hancock County's Health Department at 8 a.m. Monday is canceled. It is rescheduled for March 1st.
  • The Governor's Cup Contest at Bell County High School in Kentucky on Saturday is canceled. It is rescheduled for Tuesday.
  • Dr. Bill Bass' seminar at UT Medical Center has been canceled. It is rescheduled for Feb. 20.
  • Young-Williams Animal Center will be closed Saturday.
  • Harlan County 5 & 6 Boys Basketball Tournament postponed until Monday.
  • Blount Memorial Wellness Center closed.
  • Ijam's Nature Center Visitor's Center closed. Trails still open.
  • Obed Wild & Scenic River closed.
  • State Bowling Tournament in Smyrna has been postponed indefinitely. A large section of the roof at the Smyrna Bowling Center collapsed overnight due to heavy ice and snow.
  • Golftec in the Gallery Shopping Center is closed Saturday. The Open House scheduled for Saturday will be rescheduled.
  • Two Weight Watcher Meetings held at the Church of Christ in Maryville have been canceled Saturday morning.
  • Ijam's Nature Center's visitor center is closed today, but the trails remain open.
  • Sunday's reception at the Knoxville Museum of Art for the Knoxville Watercolor Society Exhibit has been postponed until further notice.
  • TMSAA Area 2 Tournament at Anderson County High School is postponed; new date TBA.
  • St. Mary's Catholic School in Oak Ridge is cancelling their open house scheduled for Sunday night.
  • All roads in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are closed Saturday night, with the exception of the one leading to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. The visitor center remains open. Foothills Parkway is also closed.
  • Montessori Middle School has canceled its open house for Monday.
  • The Help for Haiti Benefit Concert at the Museum of Appalachia has been rescheduled for Friday, February 5.
  • The Special Olympics Tennessee State Winter Games scheduled for Monday and Tuesday at Ober Gatlinburg will now be held on Tuesday and Wednesday. The lighting of the flame will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday on top of Ober Gatlinburg.
