Tennessee health officials have found five more patients who contracted a rare form of meningitis, and one of those was treated at a Crossville clinic.

So far, 26 people in five states who received steroid injections for back pain have been affected. Four people have died.

Eighteen of the cases -- and two deaths -- are in Tennessee where a Nashville clinic received the largest shipment of the steroid suspected in the outbreak.

Wednesday, health officials identified five new cases, including one who received an ESI at the Specialty Surgery Center in Crossville.

In addition, officials say Pain Care Center in Oak Ridge received some of the affected medication. They were contacted last week as a precautionary measure and have assessed their patients. No cases have been identified from that Oak Ridge location.
