OWENSBORO, Ky. (AP) -- Police say an Owensboro woman facing more than 1,000 counts of possessing child porn worked at a daycare center, an area "learning center" and had been employed as a nanny.
Trooper Corey King told the Messenger-Inquirer that officers don't have any evidence that 25-year-old Sarah Alice Cox produced child porn "but we can't rule it out either." Cox was arrested Tuesday after police say they found 1,064 images of child porn on her computer.
Police are asking parents who have had children in Cox's care contact Detective Jason Pagan and send him photos of their children's faces and any distinguishing birthmarks or scars.
Cox is being held at the Daviess County Detention Center, which did not have information on whether she has an attorney.
