Taylor Swift made as much as Paul McCartney in the past year.

They're tied for eighth place on the Forbes list of highest paid music stars. They both raked in $57 million before taxes.

That's one million less than what Britney Spears made and two million more than Justin Bieber and Toby Keith took in.

The highest-paid music star is Dr. Dre who made $110 million from his line of headphones.

Roger Waters is second with $88 million, which he made from playing all of "The Wall" on tour.

Elton John ranks third, with $80 million.

U-2 falls to fourth after topping the list last year.

The British boy band Take That is fifth, making $51 million for just eight dates in London.

Jon Bon Jovi is sixth.
