The Clarence Brown theater's production of "A Christmas Carol" continues this weekend. Tickets range from 10 to $25 with showtimes starting at 7:30pm and 2pm on Sunday.

Who knew that spooky and jolly could go hand in hand. "The Frightmare Before Christmas" will showcase the haunted, holiday themed Jeremiah Lexer Manor this Friday and Saturday from 7 to 10pm. Bring $15 for admission and watch out for the undead on this creepy holiday tour.

The Tennessee Theatre presents the broadway musical "A Chorus Line" this Friday at 8pm and two shows on Saturday beginning at 2 and 8. Tickets start at $37.

Harry Potter fans should head to Ijams Nature Center Saturday at 10am for Holiday at Hogwarts. For ages 5 and up enjoy first year Hogwarts classes like Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. Cost $7 for members and 10 for nonmembers.

Tis the weekend for parades. The 40th annual WIVK Christmas Parade kicks off Friday night at 7pm. This year's parade will run from Hall of Fame Drive through dowtown Knoxville and end at East Jackson Avenue.

Gatlinburg will host its Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade Friday at 7:30 and fans of the Dukes of Hazzard get an added treat. Catherine Bach a.k.a. Daisy Duke will serve as grand marshall along with local skiing legend Rolf Lanz.

Saturday parades include the Maryville-Alcoa Jaycees Christmas Parade at 11am.

The Jefferson City Christmas Parade in the Historic Mossy Creek District starts at 2.

The Oak Ridge Christmas Parade and its theme Christmas Past, Present and Future begins at 6pm.

And finally the 19th Annual Seymour Parade will take place at 4. Keep an eye out for grand marshalls Kelsie Jones and WBIR's own Erin Donovan.

Cute pets and Santa Claus always make for a fun Christmas card. You can get those pics with Santa Paws Saturday from 10 to 4 at Pet Supplies Plus on Chapman Highway.

The Appalachian Ballet Company wraps up this year's performance of "The Nutcracker" this Saturday at the Maryville Clayton Center for the Arts. Showtimes are 2 and 8pm.

Sevier Heights Living Christmas Tree will be at Thompson Boling Arena this weekend. Showtimes are 3 and 7pm on Saturday and Sunday with a final performance Monday at 7.

If you hear bells on Christmas it might be Santa. If you hear them this Saturday, its probably runners enjoying the Jingle Bell 5k Run and Walk. Day of race registration takes place Saturday at 8:30am on Market Square with the run beginning at 10.

And at the Bijou, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors present "A Neighborly Christmas " this Saturday. Prices are $17.50 in advance and $20 at the door. On Sunday, three time Grammy Award winning blues artist, Keb Mo will perform hits from his latest album. Tickets are $33. Show starts at 8.
