Figuring out your taxes can sometimes be a overwhelming.  So, for the sixth year in a row, Goodwill has stepped up to offer tax help with a free IRS program.

Now through April 13th, certified volunteers will help low to middle income individuals or families prepare their taxes.

The program is called VITA, or Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.

"In the week that they have been here, they have already helped over 200 people, so we are hoping to greatly increase that number by April," said Goodwill's Adrienne Hendon.

The VITA volunteers will be at the Goodwill located at 5307 Kingston Pike.  It's open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-4.

You'll need to bring last years return, social security card, photo i-d, and information on all income and expenses.
