I got a chance earlier to catch up with my old friend Jean-philippe Cypres, who just happens to be the harmonica player for the Johnson Quintet. JP's band will join the group "Swing Booty", Saturday night at the Relix Theatre. This has the makings of a great night of music. Show starts at 8:30pm. Tickets are $5.

It's your last chance to catch the Lady Vols at home in the regular season. Thursday night's opponent is Texas A&M. The game will be broadcast on Comcast Sports Southeast. Tip off is at 7:00pm

Hockey and a $1,000 give away! That's what's in store at the Coliseum tonight as the Ice Bears take on the Fayetteville Fireantz. The game is set to start at 7:30pm.

Halls High School will be shaking Friday night when the WBIR Heartbreakers take the court against the Adrian Burnett faculty. Its your opportunity to check the "ball skills" of some of your favorite Channel 10'ers. Game starts at 7:00pm.

George Strait and Martina McBride headline Friday night at Thompson Boling Arena. Tickets start around $70 and can be purchased at www.tbarena.com. Show starts at 7:30pm.

Another place to get your laughs this weekend is at the Tennessee Theatre. Comedian Brian Reagan hits the stage Friday night at 8:00pm. Tickets are around $43.

Saturday night at The Square Room join WBIR legend Bill Landry and others for the "Talk Is Cheap" tour. Its storytelling through the humorous and heartfelt perspectives of some of East Tennessee's finest. Doors open at 6:00pm

The Clayton Center For The Arts will host "Vocal Point" Saturday night for its Cozy Winter Nights Series. This Broadway duo will be performing in the Harold and Jean Recital Hall. Tickets are $10. Also Saturday, in the Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre, its Candian-folk and celtic-rock group. "Leahy". Tickets start at $20. Both shows start at 8:00pm

Two words for you, "free" and "alpacas". The "free" is admission and the "alpacas" are the entertainment at the 12th Annual Southern Select Alpaca Show taking place at the Sevierville Events Center. Doors open at 9:00am Saturday and Sunday.

Also on Sunday, The KSO Chamber Classics present music from the Royal Fireworks. The show starts at 2:30pm with tickets starting at $11. For more information go to www.knoxvillesymphony.com.
