A fire at a Sevier County motel was quickly controlled by firefighters, but not before some damage was done to at least a couple of rooms.
The fire started around 4:30 at the Seymour Motel on Chapman Highway. Firefighters say the residents of the room tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher, but were unsuccessful. They evacuatedalong with everyone else in the motel and firefighters took over.
The fire was mostly contained to that room and an adjoining one. Firefighters did have to go in through the roof to stop the spread of the fire.
No one was hurt, though some people will no longer be able to stay there.
Investigators aren't sure what started the fire.
