After 10 years at Tennessee, Heather Mason is out of a job. According to UT spokesperson Jimmy Stanton, Mason was put on administrative leave until June 3, and after that she will no longer be employed by Tennessee.

UT gave no comment on the reason for her dismissal.

Last October, Mason along with Lady Vols Director of Sports Medicine Jenny Moshak and former Lady Vols Strength and Conditioning coach Collin Schlosser, filed a lawsuit against the university.

Moshak, Mason and Schlosser claim they received less pay than their counterparts in UT's men's athletic department, even in some cases when doing more work.

The suit also claims UT unfairly demoted Moshak and Mason, and fired Schlosser after the three complained about the situation.
