An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday to determine how a west Knoxville infant died over the weekend according to a KPD spokesman.
Police say there were no signs of obvious foul play in the death of the 10-month-old girl. The police are continuing the investigation to be certain of cause of death.

Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive infant who was not breathing at 12:28 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived at the home on the 300 block of Cox Street, they confirmed the baby was dead.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the parents or their infant due to the on going investigation.
