Rescue and recovery efforts are continuing in Moore, Oklahoma, one day after a massive EF-5 tornado devastated the community.

The massive tornado killed at least 24 people, including nine children. Doctors at area hospitals have treated at least 237 people for injuries.

The storm wiped out entire blocks of neighborhoods, and two schools and a hospital all took direct hits.

For more on the storm and its magnitude, our Chief Meteorologist Todd Howell, and George Mathews, the meteorologist in charge at the National Weather Service office in Morristown, joined us in the 10News studio for some perspective. You can watch that entire conversation in the video above.
