The TSSAA Blue Cross Spring Fling decides the state champions in spring sports.

Class A:  Friendship Christian 12 Grace 1 (Grace eliminated)

Class AA:  Pigeon Forge 6 Dyersburg 3  (Pigeon Forge plays Goodpasture in Friday's championship game)

Class AAA:  Farragut 3 Dyer County 2  (Farragut plays Collierville Friday in championship game)

East Tennessee teams did very well on the opening day of the 2013 Blue Cross Spring Fling TSSAA Championships.

Farragut beat Centennial 6-3 and Pigeon Forge whipped Elizabethton 10--0 in baseball, while Gibbs and Oliver Springs won in softball, Maryville, Farragut and CAK advanced in soccer.

In tennis, Webb's boys and girls both beat St. George's to advance, while the CAK Boys moved on in A-AA and the Catholic Boys advanced in AAA.
