Adopt A Cabin
The Friends of the Smokies supports the Adopt-a-Cabin Program. The non-profit group provides 60 Volunteers with Adopt-a-Cabin tool kits to enable them to remove minor graffiti, repair loose floorboards, and report needs to the Historic Preservation crew.
The program is so successful that the Park does not need more volunteers for this project. However, you can find plenty of other worthwhile programs online.
