(WBIR-Greeeville, Tn) A Greeneville auxiliary police officer is now behind bars, accused of looking at child pornography on the job.
According to the complaint, Herbert Eugene Miller is charged with receiving and possession of child pornography.
The charges stem from an investigation started on August 4, when a Greeneville patrol officer told his superiors about a disturibing discovery in the internet search history of one of the patrol cars. There were searches that seemed to be looking specifically for images of child pornography. When the hard drive was searched, several explicit images were found.
Investigators were able to determine when the searches were made, and who was using that patrol car at the time.
WJHL is reporting that Miller is no longer an employee of the City of Greeneville.
