Tattoo artists from across the country will be in Knoxville this weekend for a special convention. The Holiday Inn at Worlds Fair Park is hosting the second annual Knoxville Tattoo Convention all weekend.
Almost 100 tattoo artists from across the country have traveled to Knoxville for the event. The convention will also feature burlesque performances, human suspensions and a kids' tattoo coloring contest.
Organizers say the event gives Knoxville tattoo enthusiasts a good selection from across the country.
"We got artists from all over the country that have traveled to be here and it makes it a little easier to come here to get tattooed by them versus buying a plane ticket to California," said organizer Danny Fugate.
The convention runs Saturday and Sunday. Doors open at noon. Tickets are $20 for one day or $35 for bot
