Saturday is a big moving day for thousands of freshmen headed off to college at the University of Tennessee.
Classes begin this upcoming Wednesday, and students are making their way to campus and settling in.
Technically, Saturday is move-in day, when about 6,000 students will move into the 12 different dorms on campus, but many students started moving in Friday evening The school lets around 1,000 students in the certain academic programs move in Friday.
The average GPA for incoming freshmen this year is between a 3.8 and a 3.9.
This year there are around 4,300 incoming freshmen, the largest freshman class in about 10 years.
UT says it was close, but it did have room for all 7,000 students who wanted to live on-campus.
The housing situation will get better a year from now. Next fall, UT opens the Fred D. Brown residence hall. It's the first new dorm on campus in 40 years, and it's under construction right now. When it's done it will hold almost 700 students.
