Dulcimer courses offered at Pellissippi State

Rudy Ryan, who has taught Appalachian Dulcimer lessons for 10 years, is preparing for his fall students.

Beginning in mid-September, the Loudon County resident will teach three courses at two different Pellissippi State Community College locations.  These non-credit courses are part of the college's Personal Development Program.

Each course meets once per week for 9 weeks.  Each session lasts 1.5 hours.  Registration costs $95 for the dulcimer course.  There is an additional material fee for the music class.

The Beginner Course will be held at PSCC's Hardin Valley campus.  Both the Intermediate 1 and Novice classes will be taught at PSCC's Lamar Alexander Parkway Campus in Blount County.
