Maryville college freshmen moved into their dorms on campus Thursday afternoon.
This year's freshman class is the largest in Maryville College's 194-year history. It's also a diverse class coming from 23 states.
After unpacking and getting settled, students and some of their parents enjoyed a barbecue. Most say they're excited to start classes.
"It's kind of crazy. I'm ready to start my classes though. It's gonna be a pretty hard experience. It's just kind of crazy," said Patrick Hicks.
Students still have a couple days left to kick back and enjoy summer. Classes begin next Wednesday.
