State troopers arrested two men in East Tennessee Thursday night who were on the run after a deadly carjacking in Georgia.
Police arrested 23-year-old Quovadis Arrington and 19-year-old Jumar Greer on Interstate 75 in Campbell County.
THP troopers stopped the men for speeding, and initially let them go. Moments later, they got a warning about two car jacking suspects, who matched the description of the men pulled over for speeding. THP planned another traffic stop and took the suspects into custody.
Deputies in Georgia say the men sent deputies on the chase after playing a part in a carjacking and murder. They were believed to be on their way to Chicago.
The suspects are waiting to find out if they'll be sent back to Georgia.
