(WBIR-Knoxville) The Tennessee Valley Fair is coming back in a couple days with a new theme and some new fun.
Crews have spent the last couple of days setting up tents, rides, stages, and activities.
This year's theme is "fun on the farm." It's meant to connect kids with agriculture through fun festivities. For example, kids will can go on an "agri-venture scavenger hunt" that will take them on a tour of the fair.
It's just one new learning experience of many.
"We're also having a brand new kiddie land fun tent that we're debuting this year that has story telling, mascot parties, live arts and crafts, just all kinds of extra neat fun things to do," said Sarah Thompson, Director of Public Relations for the Tennessee Valley Fair.
The fair kicks off this Friday and runs until September 15th.
