Vols defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox on Wednesday said what his boss told the media earlier in the week.
Wilcox has not been offered a job at Texas.
And, in what he said would be his only comment on the matter, Wilcox told the media he had not been offered jobs at any other schools either.
"I believe 100 percent in what we're doing here at Tennessee," Wilcox said. "I back Coach Dooley 100 percent and where this program is going."
Reports surfaced over the weekend that the Longhorns had targeted Wilcox to replace Will Muschamp as defensive coordinator.
Muschamp became head coach at Florida on Dec. 11.
Tennessee (6-6) ranked 10th in the Southeastern Conference in total defense, giving up 381.92 yards per game, and ninth in scoring defense at 24.7 points.
Wilcox, 34, joined the Tennessee staff in February after spending four seasons at Boise State.
