It could be hit or miss for Frontier Airlines travelers over the next few months after a severe hailstorm recently damaged Frontier Airlines' planes in Denver.

Wednesday night, Frontier passengers heading to Knoxville are scheduled to get in on time. Hail damage in Denver led to close to 100 flight cancellations this past weekend including flights in East Tennessee.

Wednesday, officials with McGhee Tyson officials said the airline is still working to handle the situation. It can take crews a long time to assess hail damage to planes and figure out how best to fix them.

McGhee Tyson officials suggest passengers contact Frontier directly for impacted flights.
