Update: Hawkins County woman found

Update: According to the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office, Kathy Kaywood has be found and she is safe.

 The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office is asking you to help locate a missing woman.

Officers responded to a possible missing person on 3041 Beech Creek Road, in Rogersville.

Upon arrival Officers spoke with a Mildred Steadman, who advised that she was the caretaker of Kathy Kaywood.

Steadman said that Kathy was fifty nine years old but has the mental capacity of a five year old.

Kaywood has been missing since aproximately 10pm on Friday.

Steadman said Kaywood was sitting on the front porch of their residence.

Steadman said when she went to check on Kathy at 11:30pm she was gone.

Kaywood is just over 5 feet tall and weighs 103 pounds. She has shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She is missing all her teeth and has a large surgical scar on her chest.

Kaywood was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, blue jean shirt and blue and white tennis shoes. She is known to catch a ride with anyone that would stop and pick her up.

Kaywood has left the residence several times in the past and has been located in the Rogersville, Church Hill and Kingsport areas.
