Country Music Hall of Famer Glenn Campbell is heading to East Tennessee to perform a benefit concert for Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc.
Campbell, who announced in his battle with Alzheimer's earlier this year, will perform a concert in honor of Pat Summitt on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Clayton Center for the Arts in Maryville.
Tickets for the "Glenn Campbell Tennessee Homecoming" will go on sale on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Four of Campbell's children are expected to join him on stage for the show.
"It is so appropriate for Glen Campbell to continue to share his music with the world," said Janice Wade-Whitehead, Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc. Executive Director. "Music is the universal language. It touches everyone and is oftentimes therapeutic for all of us, including those living with Alzheimer's disease."
Proceeds from the event will benefit the work of Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc. For more information you can visit the Alzheimer's Tennessee website.
