A Cub Scout leader in McMinn County is charged with sexual battery by an authority figure, after police say she forced a 16-year-old Boy Scout to have inappropriate contact with her.
Athens Police arrested 29-year-old Amanda Arnwine last week.
According to a police report, the Boy Scout volunteered to help with Cub Scout events, and went to Arnwine's apartment to help with one in November.
When he arrived, he told investigators that Arnwine asked him to drive her to a gas station to get a drink. He said she started to touch him inappropriately as they drove down the road.
When he told her to stop, she apologized and said she was a little tipsy, according to the report.
The victim reported the incident to the Children's Advocacy Center.
Arnwine told police she drank a beer before the victim came over.
