The life of a mutt who's been on dog death row for more than a year has been spared by a judge following an outcry from animal lovers and the acceptance of a last-ditch proposal to keep the dog alive.
Prada is a 4-year-old pit bull mix that lives in middle Tennessee and was declared vicious and ordered to be euthanized after attacking several dogs last year.
Since then, thousands of people from all over the world have signed a petition to save the dog's life.
Prada could soon be a cable TV star.
The judge's ruling means she's now moving to a rescue center in New Orleans.
The center is featured in Animal Planet's reality TV show Pit Bulls and Parolees, which put ex-convicts and abused dogs together so both man and animal can be rehabilitated.
