People who purchased Arby's coupon books over the past year helped contribute to a record breaking donation to Alzheimer's Tennessee.
Owners of the area Arby's presented the more than $188,000 check to Alzheimer's Tennessee.
This year was the most money the company has ever raised in this effort. Their new coupon books will go on sale next week. Arby's owner and operator John Johnson said he hopes Tennessee will be generous again.
"We just ask that they come in and donate a dollar and get a coupon book for 20 dollars that is good through March," said Johnson. "We have raised about 1.3 million dollars in the last nine or 10 years, and we just hope to continue to increase that, so just give and give and give."
The new coupon books will go on sale next Monday. Again, the books cost a dollar, and consist of $20 worth of coupons. People can purchase coupon books at any area Arby's.
