Officials investigate a duplex fire at Dutch Valley Village

Update 12:46 am:

Firefighters responded to duplex fire at Dutch Valley Village shortly before 9:00 pm Sunday night.

When firefighters arrived, they found flames rolling from the tops of windows to the back of the building.  Firefighters were able to put out the fire within the first fifteen minutes of arrival.

One of the units was unoccupied, and the other had a tenant, who wasn't there when the blaze started.  The duplex was a total loss, and there is still no word on what started the fire.

No injures were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

A house fire on 1904 Dutch Valley Drive will shut down traffic on that road until 10 pm at the earliest.

Officials say no one was at home during the fire. The home is a total loss, and there is still no word on what caused the fire on Sunday night.

Arson investigators are on scene and investigating if any foul play was involved.

There have been no reported injuries.
