East Tennesseans have until Sunday to visit the "Fantasy of Trees" while helping out a good cause.
Since Wednesday, people have visited the Knoxville Convention Center to enjoy this popular tradition. This year's theme is "Twelve Days of Christmas" and features more than 350 decorated trees. The festival will remain open from noon until 6:00 pm.
Money raised during this event will help pay for surgical equipment at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
Shoppers will see lower prices this weekend because "Mark Down Elves" slashed prices throughout the festival.
The "Fantasy of Trees" also features children's activities and plenty of shopping. East Tennessee Children's Hospital public relations manager Erica Estep said this festival is a great way to check items off your shopping list.
"We also have jewelry, personalize ornaments, cookies and anything that you can imagine," said Estep. "You can put a big dent in your shopping list right here at the "Fantasy of Trees" for a great cause."
