Pigeon Forge leaders are working out the details on how the city's liquor by the drink sales will be regulated.
The city commission voted Monday to allow businesses that sell liquor by the drink to stay open until 3 a.m. That would match state law. They also voted to approved privilege licenses for businesses that sell liquor by the drink.
The ordinances will be up for second reading at the commission's next meeting on December 10 at 5:30.
The liquor by the drink referendum passed by 100 votes, but an anti-liquor group has sued to contest the vote. They believe some ballot mix-ups were made.
