The East Tennessee Technology Access Center is making the holidays a little brighter for kids with disabilities.

On Monday, the ETTAC held a holiday "Toy Tech Party" for families of kids with disabilities. The non-profit has adapted toys for children who cannot play with typical toys. At the party, children got to pick out toys, which were adapted just for them.

One mother Nancy Rubio said ETTAC has been a godsend this holiday season.

"Hezriel had always just got dog toys to play with that squeak. That's all he could do at the time when we met them (ETTAC)," said Rubio. "And now he's into adaptive equipment all due to ETTAC."

All the adapted toys handed out during the "Toy Tech Party" came from donations.
