A Farragut High School graduate was killed this weekend in Lexington, Kentucky, when she was run over by a fire truck.
The accident happened on Saturday around 10 pm on Broadway and Main Street in downtown Lexington. Investigators say a firefighter with the Lexington Fire Department was turning without emergency lights or sirens when Lauren Woodall Roady was hit and killed.
Roady, 27, who graduated from Farragut High School in 2004, was recently married. She was working on the legal staff at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Washington, DC.
Roady was in Lexington with her teammates from the Georgetown Running Club. They were competing in a national cross country race.
