East Tennesseans of all different faiths gathered Wednesday to celebrate the holiday season. About 50 people attended the holiday celebration at the Beck Cultural Center in East Knoxville.
Local city leaders, including Mayor Madeline Rogero and Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch were there.
The celebration brought together Christians, Jews, Buddhists and folks of other religions.
"It's a good way in terms of cross cultural representation where people will get a chance to meet other people they might not meet on a daily basis," said Avon Rollins Sr., CEO of the Beck Cultural Center.
The holiday celebration was the Beck Cultural Center's way of saying "thank you" to those who help and support it all year.
