We're hearing from the grandfather of four children who died in an early morning house fire Wednesday.
The fire broke out at a home in Pikeville, Kentucky, which is near the Virginia border.
Four children, ranging in age from six-months to 7-years-old, along with their father, died.
The mother made it out, and ran to her father's house nearby to get help.
"She got out, my daughter did. She come down there knocking on the window and woke me up, and I looked out and seen the house was on fire. I jumped up and went through there and tried to get the kids out, but too late to do anything," said James Tucker, the grandfather.
Rescue crews took the mother to a hospital to be treated for burns.
The house was destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
